Cookie Policy

Last updated: 1 July 2026

How shippp.ai uses cookies and similar technologies, under the ePrivacy rules and the GDPR. Nothing non-essential is set until you consent.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small files stored on your device that let a site remember your actions and preferences. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels) work the same way. We group them into the categories below.

2. Categories we use

Strictly necessary (always on)

Required for the site and app to work — sign-in, session, security and CSRF protection, and remembering your cookie choice. These do not require consent and cannot be switched off.

shippp-cookie-consentShippp (first-party)Stores your per-category cookie choices so the banner doesn't ask again and your grants can be re-applied on return visits.Local storageUntil you clear it
shippp-visitor-idShippp (first-party)A random, anonymous ID stored alongside your consent record as proof of consent (GDPR Art. 7).Local storageUntil you clear it

Functional

Remember your preferences and settings to improve your experience. Set only with your consent. We currently set no functional cookies; this category is reserved for future preference storage.

Analytics

Help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-GG8M8E37T5). These are set only after you accept the analytics category.

Marketing

Used to measure and personalise advertising. Set only with your consent. We currently run no advertising or marketing cookies; if we add them, they will be listed here and gated behind your consent.

3. Consent Mode & how blocking works

We use Google Consent Mode v2. On first load, all non-essential storage (analytics and advertising) defaults to “denied”, so no analytics or marketing cookies are set and no such data is collected until you opt in per category. When you accept a category, the matching signals are switched to “granted”. Your choice is versioned; if our cookie policy materially changes, we ask you again.

4. Change or withdraw your consent

You can change your preferences or withdraw consent at any time using the persistent “Cookie settings” control on the site, or here:

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

5. Third parties

  • Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) — analytics, consent-gated.
  • See the full recipient list in our Privacy Notice and DPA.
